Chaupard & Chopin brings together two stage powerhouses: Di-Meh, an independent Swiss rapper with raw energy, and Chilly Gonzales—a virtuoso musician, performer, and occasional rapper.
The project brings together two artists who engage in a dialogue—challenging and responding to one another—to craft a free-spirited, unpredictable musical universe unlike anything else in the Francophone rap landscape. The EP also features powerful collaborations, including a guest appearance by Jungle Jack and production by JeanJass on the track “Pacino Pacino,” further amplifying the project’s impact.
The cover art, created by artist Dexter Maurer, extends this universe through a surrealist aesthetic: two giant gummy bears stand amidst mountainous landscapes reminiscent of Switzerland—a quirky nod to the project’s identity and the unlikely meeting of these two worlds.
